  • Very beautiful villa and garden. Go to see it!
  • Lovely villa with a beautiful garden. Well preserved. Within the original furniture from various periods. The small but spectacular garden. The management of the Fai leaves some doubt. I visited the villa on 27 May. On this day a sales exhibition of roses with entrance increased to 10 euros. Inside the park some interesting rose from Tuscany, the rest of the stalls with produce curious and unsuitable type: fruit from Spain, British plant greenhouses, a cornflower to 2 euros. I wonder if the Fai is promoting the Italian environment because it does not have local products on these occasions? A real shame in Italian "style".

  • Beautiful villa surrounded by a beautiful park. As all the villas of FAI, also Villa della Porta Bozzolo combines the natural beauty of parks and gardens with the architectural and cultural of a historic villa. In particular villa della Porta Bozzolo, has a series of outdoor terraces that are worth a visit. Interesting so even a guided tour inside the House to discover the works and history before "the door" and then the "Cocoon". Along the SS 394 there is ample free parking, very close to the highway, then the villa had a first court where the bookshop and a few room furnished with antique furniture that takes a little of the courtiers. After doing the ticket may be made by the turnstiles giving access to the side entrance of the villa. From here you can decide to visit before the secret garden, various terraces that are progressing towards a dense forest where you can admire the panoramic view of the Valley (it's a nice climb), or access to the Interior, so if you want you can also follow a guided tour. Inside the villa, there are also external works and not of the place, but the real flaw, in my opinion, is that villa and Park close at 18 also in the summer when instead you could enjoy even for a few hours especially outside.

  • The tours are full and comprehensive. Turn the villa freely is equally rewarding for the beauty and the villa and the Park. There is also some game for children.

  • Nothing out of the ordinary. The promotion campaign of the FAI by the way is quite excessive: the villa is an ordinary old villa, with a poorly managed, poorly cultivated garden. When I visited there were no children to make the guides, quite frustrating. There are plenty of competent graduates who would do the volunteers with much more professionalism. The absolute lack of selection of FAI is unspeakable. (Nice grounds, though)
