  • We always come back again to this great Church rich in precious furnishings; Marquis Church, erected by a vote of offspring. Appreciate the sculptures by Sanmicheli and altar frontals of Soleri. Aggiungiao that in the right nave is missing, for now, the large painting '' the defeat of the Albigensians '' (7.50 x 4.70) by Pier Francesco Guala, is under restoration (match in January 2014) to Nicola laboratory of Aramengo (had been affected by water leaks). The painting is part of a cycle (three Guala and a Crosio) adorning aisle and side of the main altar, the other great paintings (see details) depict '' the battle of Lepanto (Crosio), '' the miracle of the book '' and '' the miracle from death to life the nephew of Cardinal Fossanova. '' We remember with Annarosa Nicola when (1969) all four paintings came out of the portal for their first restoration (and we were stationed with a Yashica 6 x 6). Impressive and well restored the cloister, a little drastic anti cartel dogs. The Church overlooks a small square with two other preciousness: Ottolenghi House and the 18th century Church of mercy. Testafochi Tower peers out. A farmhouse that is not minor.

  • Very nice Lombard Gothic style of the Church of San Domenico with its imposing Interior. Inside are kept many paintings including the magnificent altarpiece by Guala. Also interesting is the visit of the kiosk.

  • The Church of St. Domenico is one of the main churches of the city. Its construction was begun in the 15th century by the famous architect Bramantino. There is a Bell Tower, courtyard and Chapel, richly decorated with stucco. The frescoes are still standing, paints a vivid still.
