  • Imposing crucifixion above the altar where you notice the two nails in the feet of the Lord, especially difficult to find around here. Gorgeous entry into which is totally different and previous internal architecture.

  • While not a lover of religious architecture, this Cathedral fascinated me for its mix of styles and for its distinctive narcete, rare element in the Western Churches. Well worth a visit.

  • My fiance and I visited the duomo with its treasures and a visit to the attics of Cathedral. We say that an architect's Guide may seem advantageous when it comes to structures, walls etc. A bit difficult to follow the speech but when much of the visit is explained by technical terms too unknown to non-specialists. That being said we found the Cathedral too altered in later centuries, result: a mishmash of styles, walls, cornices and Windows moved and reinserted as puzzle here and there in the Cathedral. In short, a mess.
