  • Duomo di Casale Monferrato in Romanesque-Gothic style. Within the Golden Chapel of Sant'Evasio patron of the city. Nice crucifix suspended over the altar.

  • The Duomo of Casale is a monument with his story (and its extension ...) can give you new emotions. Thursday, December 8 was inaugurated an exhibition (John Ballard)-is open until January 8, 2017-also allows (almost unique opportunity) to visit the roof spaces of the Cathedral with its thousand years of history. A true path climbs from scale organ arheological collection and descend in the narthex (that view), with steps that bring to light the hidden frame permits and mullioned Windows and if you are careful incisions to be studied (ino coat of arms in the transept). Honor to Raffaella Rolfo, responsible for cultural heritage, for the Diocesan support (she wants to do it again at Easter with other view, Fish curator). The approach is also the apsidal Hall-enter from via Liutprando-with antique statues and mosaics that have nothing to envy to Ravenna.

  • Surprising the narthex at the entrance, unusual in churches of North Italy, and allows magical play of light on sunny days. Admire the large crucifix above the altar.
