Grotte di Pietrasecca Reviews
Io e alcuni amici abbiamo deciso di passare il giorno di Ferragosto in visita alle Grotte di Pietrasecca. Of course we have already heard, but we preferred to visit the website, where you can find all the info you need in advance. It would have been preferable to book in advance, but forgetful as we are, we reduced to morning, and however, fortunately, the girl of the reserve has managed to slip in the first visit of the day of 9:30. Result: an hour and a half, Sprint! The cave is wonderful, and our guide, very prepared! We opted for the path L1, the simplest, but no less satisfying. Descend, first, on a wooden footbridge, then we proceed on the sheets on the ground, so as to preserve as far as possible the naturalness (and the charm) of the cave by scaffolding. The lights are offered by only helmets supplied from the outset, therefore, I want to mention a few previous posts: the visit is always individual, you choose where and what to illuminate. Before rising and completely quit cave, a surprise for us: one minute of torches extinguished, to plunge into a dark other than so far known, and then, a minute of silence, to listen to the life of the cave. Although, I repeat, all the tour was really nice, the latter is the experience that most touched me. Ultimately, highly recommended, and also recommended a pair of hiking boots, wherever possible, ensuring a better grip on the ground, and not to bathe their feet in the mud areas.
There are four rounds 9.30 -11.30 -14.30 -16.30, and various levels, level 1 is suitable for everyone but from what I felt, children must be at least 7 or 8 years, the level 2 what I did for people more agile and adventurous, it's tiring, but worth it. It starts with an entrance on a wooden platform and go down, then up to the first level is flat. Finished the first level begins to drop between rocks, stalactites and stalagmites. Who does the second layer should put a fisherman overalls because there is a small path in the water and it gets wet to the groin, the lighting inside is not there, then you will be equipped with helmet and light. For the second level you pass in different slots, one of which at first seems very narrow, but it is not so, as you enter, on his stomach, pushing with her legs there you go .... for glaustrofobia sufferers in fact do not recommend ... First level costs €12 per person, while the second €30. The third level is for experts only, because it falls into a pit with the carabiners ... with wires "elevators". The cave inside is beautiful, the rocks with crystals are stunning, at least once in your life you must provare...la guide who accompanied us Anna very prepared and Nice ... Very important for those who make the second level I suggest you bring your gear and put old clothes.
Un parco naturale sotterraneo affascinante e meraviglioso. Non ci sono passerelle o camminamenti, se non nel primo breve tratto, né luci artificiali, se non quelle che vi forniscono assieme al caschet... more »An underground nature park charming and wonderful. There are footbridges or walkways, if not in the first short stretch, nor artificial lights, except those who provide together with the helmet. You will feel real cavers, sympathetic and prepared when you walk with guides in silence and Majesty of the cave. The first level is suitable, with some attention, everyone. The second-that I recommend-it's a bit more challenging from a physical point of view (bottlenecks, boulders climbing, a water basin to Wade), but definitely worth it.
