  • not the usual huge building, but a beautiful church built entirely of marble. Maybe not too accurate restorations, but must for who's in town.

  • Entirely built in marble in the 11th century, has been the subject of many interventions in subsequent periods. Of the original building remain some sculptures and the portal with the capitals. The top of the facade with beautiful rose and bows scaled is from the 14th century. The Interior is very impressive, has semicircular arches on columns with capitals variables and many marble elements even of our time. If you are in the area be sure to visit it.

  • The Romanesque church. Entering seems to go back in time and you'd lose to admire the structure simple and evocative, marble columns and what remains of frescoes by now very ruined. On the short side of the Cathedral, from the outside, you can admire a marble canopy which I believe is among the most beautiful in Italy. The beautiful square with a fountain surmounted by a gigantic statue. Upon leaving the Cathedral on the bottom right corner of the small square, next to a flower shop, there is a small shop with two tables and a few chairs: is an old wine cellar where they serve small glasses of white or red wine. Go there and you'll understand how once you passed an hour or so chatting with friends and sipping a wine shade!
