Luogo intriso di storia e leggenda. Camminare tra le stanze affrescate, tra gli stemmi Lanza- La Grua, affacciarsi dalle stanze private sulla cappella di famiglia, ammirare il cortile interno e le torri, con i loro merli, che si stagliano dalla roccia della montagna dà idea della Vita di un tempo e talvolta sembra ancora aleggiare lo spirito della principessa Lanza. È in una posizione di controllo sul Golfo di Carini e Isola delle Femmine e la vista sul mare da un lato e sulle montagne dall'altro incanta, sia al sole del giorno che sotto le stelle. Lo spazio esterno del cortile è un ottimo scenario e fa spesso da sfondo a spettacoli di musica o teatro. Consiglio inoltre di visitare il Castello nel periodo natalizio: il baglio antico su cui affaccia è adibito alle rappresentazioni annuali del presepe vivente.
