  • Besides the entrance fee of € 2, with as many you can have a guide that tells the history of the Castle. In my view the guides, well prepared with great love for their land, are essential! Allow you to understand the different construction periods of the history, styles, legend sympathetically and preparation. The view from up there is beautiful. Recommended visit at all.

  • Carini is a town on the coast of Palermo. Visit the Cathedral, grandiose and shining example of Baroque art. A monument that made the name of Carini worldwide is the recently restored Castle, where took place the tragic story of the Baroness of Carini. Donna Laura Lanza was murdered by her husband or by his father (there are a multitude of hypotheses), because of his love affair with the handsome Ludovico Vernagallo. It is said that before he died he leaned on the wall bloody hand, Laura specimen of which brightens its color on the anniversary of his death. Beyond the legends, it is worth visiting this fine example of medieval fortification, dominating with its grandeur Cute suit.

  • I visited the castle of Carini, one Sunday afternoon, following the explanations of a young chaperone who knew by heart every corner of the Castle and its history.
