Bravissimo the tightrope Walker, who in two rounds may to applause of the audience after his walk over eight metres high. Beautiful view of kimonos for the exhibition curated, beautiful illustrative panels, the elegance of the clothing on display. Hard to imagine that there could be behind a simple kimono much cultural wisdom and multiplicity of meanings. The extension of the opening until 19 November is a proof of the success of the initiative.
Well worth it! Great guide
It was a very interesting visit with a young guide very prepared. The spinning wheel was restored and glad to see the incredible results that even the addition of modern "artworks" are able to deface. Were rebuilt even two huge hydraulic late 1600 twisting machines who, to the amazement of visitors, are operated! A place that is worth a visit.
An imposing restored bringing the ancient wooden flyer tells the story of kisses from silk, its cultivation in the area and the work of the woman at the spinning wheel. Often has interesting exhibits, latest that of kimono. Gorgeous! To visit x people from zero to one hundred years!
Recommend a guided tour to everyone! Made me aware of the hard life in the factory at that time both women and children. Was also performed a wooden reconstruction of machinery flawlessly and running
Il Filatoio di Caraglio is the oldest silk factory in Europe. He recently inaugurated the rearrangement of the collections, with new machinery and tools related to silk processing. Interesting exhibitions.
