  • Known to book a trip to Paolo Rumiz which made me curious to inspect it. The highlight of the Museum are the matres matutae with a contemporary layout that enhances the uniqueness of a unique collection! Too bad there are available at the entrance to publications on the subject. A classic example of "pearls" that our wonderful country possesses.

  • The heart of the Museum is the collection of matres matute hugging a time span of several centuries and different types of mothers. Recently redesigned is housed in a palace that alone is already worth a visit. The tour includes a rich Roman lapidary, mosaics and paintings from monuments of the area, an amazing collection of ceramics and objects made of other materials. Too bad these materials there is a old style layout with captions. Equally important is the medieval lapidary with pieces coming from the towers of Federico II

  • The Museum you do not expect. Has a vast collection of historical records of the entire province of Caserta and out of it all is one of the largest collections of matres matutae I have ever seen.

  • Lovely Museum. Don't miss the Hall of Matres Matutae. It is advisable to book the Guide because it's a museum full of artifacts from the fascinating stories. One above all: a child (Gamble) who, they say, games in the rooms at night ...

  • Beautiful. Worth visiting. Amazing especially the blood (especially ancient Greek and Cameron) and statues (from Rome to the middle ages).

  • Museum to visit absolutely! Inside are preserved unique exhibits like the collection of statues of ' mater matuta ' found in the lapidary collection Mommsen capuano and territory that is second only to that of the Archaeological Museum of Naples.

  • The collection of Matres Matutae preserved in this Museum is one of the most important collections in the world. Mater Matuta, in Roman mythology associated with the Greek goddess, Ino, is the goddess of the morning or dawn and then protector of the birth (of men and things).  His feast (Matrialia) was celebrated on June 11, this cult were allowed only Virgin women or married once, whose husband was still alive, while women slaves were severely excluded. In the library you can see one of the first written documentation of the Italian language.

  • A Pearl too little known, the Campanian museum displays works that are unique in the world (including the matres matutae). To go and learn. -Roman, Roman and contains works of the eighteenth century.
