  • We saw that building on the promontory when we were strolling on the path from the Terrace of Tragara to the Natural Arch. It was difficult to figure out how that villa had been built. Another interes...  more »
  • This villa, red as the thought of the owner, is rather a wart on a beautiful side and does not deserve the difficult road to reach

  • the villa curzio malaparte, built on a cliff of the island, overlooking the sea, is one of the most impressive and contemporary works that Board to see. The villa, built by the Italian architect Adalberto Libera in the Fascist period, is closed to the public, however, you can see from above, and despite the long walk to get there, the only sight worth grueling. Of course, you can also arrive by sea, but from above you can see architectural drawing.

  • villa malaparte is just one truly amazing part of this world class site along the bottom of capri. starting at the intersection of via arco naturale and the ristorante le grottelle, the via del pizzolungo (the pizzolungo path) parallels the southern coast of the island, high on the cliffs, affording amazing views, natural sites such as an unmarked ancient cave, the spectacular malaparte and the faraglioni rock formation. start at the restaurant and descend the countless steep steps to enjoy one unforgettable view after another. if you really want to feel the burn, start at the western end of pizzolungo and end by going up the steps, finishing for a final well-deserved cool drink at le grottelle! a prerequisite viewing of Jean Luc Godard's film masterpiece "Contempt (Le Mepris)" is a must!
  • So beautifully featured in Jean-Luc Godard's epic film Contempt!
  • Espetacular.
  • Strategic point ... hard to accept now.

  • Architecture and nature in the hands of releases and Malaparte. It is a pity that it is very difficult to visit it.
