Landmark
At Valle della Luna, enjoy a relaxing walk through the sea-shaped valley, dotted with patches of green and scattered boulders in an inspiring landscape. Although modestly sized--only 500 m (1,640 ft) in length--the valley offers some excellent photo opportunities, as well as a hidden getaway for a pleasant walk. Climb to the top of the small lighthouse on site to observe the coast, the sea and, if your timing is right, the mesmerizing sunset. • Now, beginning April in this Valley to wander is an incredible experience. Hike is described already, good to deal with. Now early April flowers, smells and it buzzes but everywhere in the Machia. A true eye - and Nasrnschmaus.

  • The Valle della Luna (Valle di Luna) is a long stretched Valley, which opens in two creeks to the sea. Million old granite rocks form a stunning frame. Of great beauty, a short hike to the famous Valley. The 'entrance' is easy to find. First drive coming towards CAPO Testa Santa Teresa. The line is closed in the summer for campers and caravans. Park at the parking lot at the CAPO Testa (turning point). Who comes early in the morning is there is plenty of parking space. Later in the day, it can be tight. From the car park on the road about 200 mtr. go back and watch the now right hand side (side) on a wooden gate. A trail leads into the bushes here. and through by the chirping of cicadas Machia fulfilled in 15-20 minutes at the top of the beautiful valley. Over boulders and debris following the path down into the Valley and to the beautiful also in the August not crowded beach. There is water on a tröpfelden source in the upper part of the Valley. In the 1960-70 he years hippies discovered the fascinating Valley. Followed by backpackers and in half of Europe, "the secret" from the beautiful valley on Sardinia spread. in 1984, the police cleared the Valley. Today the overall picture will determine here and there in the grottos and caves used but rather normal bathers and hikers looking with picnic and snorkel a fascinating day in the most beautiful nature and crystal clear water.

  • Impressive granite environment eroded rocks that take strange forms. Highly recommended at dusk, when the Sun tinges of pink walls. If you're close, indispensable. A beautiful, different place on the beach in July, dozens of jellyfish. I am unaware if it is usual. There are also people camping or vivaqueando, in search of a fraternal union with Gaia.

  • Impressive peninsula of CAPO Testa in the Strait of Bonifacio. Restaurant visit possible. Walking through the "Vale de Luna" we explore the outposts of Sardinia against West shaped by storms. Cape not so spectacular looks by sea, by land. Who dares approach close, recognizes its unique bizarre beauty - moves but also in danger. Because it is a single sea of rocks and not suitable therefore for the anchors. Who still can't quite calm weather, is a small bay surrounded by rocks in the Cala spinosa directly in front of the Cape. Once you have here but one or two boats, it is tight. Should wind up, the maneuverability is hardly given. Further around the Cape around the Valle della Luna, there are two even closer bays, which are however suitable with undersea rocks for every boat and every draft, and certainly not when wind or swell.
