  • At the conclusion of a trip to Lake Iseo we thought we'd return home through the Val Camonica. Had long wanted to see the National Park of rock engravings, but for various reasons I've never been able to see it. The day was not serene, which in the end was really positive. The course lasted about two hours, in the beautiful scenery. It is very well marked and then you can do it calmly, pausing to read the different tables that accompany the different sites. The staff is very friendly, provides all the necessary explanations. I guess I was just pleasantly impressed with this wonderful site, which offers a view over the Valley and its really nice tops. Interesting and recommended.

  • Since my son, third grade is studying these things, during father's day weekend, we decided to visit the Park, we were staying near Iseo, that is to say that from Iseo to Park there are about an hour and 10 minutes of travel, passing fast anyway seen the highway and views of the Lake and mountains. the Park is very interesting, there are several recordings to see, even if on the map that comes with the path to be followed are given in evidence. Conservation of the engravings is impressive, the light is a very important element in fact if not much just some engravings are hard to see but just change your point of view and you can see everything. The Park also includes a visit to the Museum opened in the afternoon, visit of approximately 40 minutes, children can write with a computer their names with alphabet CAMUNNI. in the surroundings there are also other parks that you can visit, these are free, and though the main major incisions is this.

  • Incisionì Rock Park is one of those hidden gems that our beautiful Italy is full. I know little of rock carvings or prehistory in General, and I wasn't sure I would have liked. But I've been pleasantly denial. Meanwhile, the park itself is stunning and well worth a visit: it is located above the village of Capo di Ponte (clearly signposted) and pretty much goes into a forest and you walk down the paths, skirting the mountain which offers a splendid view on the Valley and the surrounding mountains. The paths are different (we get just two, but there is something to explore!), and engravings, once you get the eye and you manage to locate well on large boulders placed throughout the Park, are fascinating, as well as the history of their discovery. We were around for a ski vacation, but trust me, it is worth going on purpose, and if in any case you're around set aside an afternoon to go there. Don't advertise enough in my opinion, but it is really something unique.
