  • An archaeological site worth visiting, even if much of it is still buried under Earth: are therefore visible on the Forum, the Forum baths, amphitheatre, some domus and what remains of the shrine of Feronia. The antiquarium is gorgeous: exhibits truly remarkable and the path is really well done. The site is located a few kilometers from Rome, is easily accessible by highway, is free and features indoor parking. The only flaw is that the Roman villa across the street is currently not open and nobody knows when it will be.

  • This museum, unknown to most, is divided into 2 parts: one part outside where you can admire the remains of an ancient Etruscan city devoted to the worship of the goddess Feronia, and where are the remains of a Basilica, a temple, and of an amphitheatre, and then there's a party indoors where there are some objects and statues found in the city outside. I must say that this is a fantastic Museum because everything is described in detail and the Museum inside very modern, clean and simple path. At the entrance a nice lady will ask you only to place a firma.....eh already, because the entrance to this fantastic site is free: you just respect it and visit it with composure and order.

  • Remains of this level anywhere farther from Rome would have assumed greater importance. The Museum, which is free, it is well maintained, well organized, full of explanations. Contains exhibits of absolute value. Unfortunately the remains extremely attractive outdoor (baths, amphitheatre, etc) would benefit from more care and made accessible also for disabled people and wheelchairs. Weeds everywhere. It would be worth paying a few dollars but maintain the area with greater consistency.
