  • The gardens are nice, and the visit of the villa, in french, really nice. Flat on the price too high. Immaculate home and visit. For gardens, after the tour of gardens in Lombardy, we are always a little hungry! These are nice with sculptures, and absolutely gorgeous white roses. Can be also a matter of season, everything was not yet in bloom!

  • In front of the beautiful villa Torrigiani, one of the few still visible inside, there's a long tree-lined avenue of cypress trees in two rows, as the poet said. Over 500 metres long, slightly uphill from the South towards the villa, is closed to traffic and is a natural ground for runners and walkers.

  • One of the few villas that have kept the furnishings and even the costumes of the era. The guided tour is detailed and appealing.

  • Beautiful but not well kept...The norm in Italy. These are all treasures that are undervalued and run in a very sketchy way.
  • Nice walk in the garden and friendly english speaking staff. However, considering the disfunctional state of some parts, the 7€ admission is to expensive.
  • a real jewel of Renaissance architecture blends nicely with the small village where.
  • Definitely one of the most beautiful villas in Lucca area. The grounds are very large and well maintained with some statues and fountains. Inside you can visit only 7 rooms, but be careful, it is not permitted to take photographs. Admission fee a little expensive for my taste.
