  • Oh, this villa just got better and better. From a very low-key frontage the villa unfolded itself, showing the beauty of the rooms, the decoration and the outlook. Just as we thought we had come to th...  more »
  • This is not a review concerning the villa but the tourists. I work as a gardener for over 5 years at Villa Mansi and unfortunately I've seen and heard it all. My Office is the garden and the gate, left half-open, there are signs that warn that the villa is closed and you can visit only the garden at the price of 5 € (aged 65 years and older entrance is free) and that for the ticket you must contact your gardener. At this point I could entertain the player with the most absurd things I've had to endure because of rude tourists who do not respect my work, my person and the extraordinary beauty of the place. So I would like to list only a few things that the tourist must do. 1) read the signs and if he decides to enter means he wants to see the garden. 2) is the garden and gardener's Office if I am working and I don't notice of anyone who enters, partly because the place is big, the tourist should not go to the Office inside, somehow I'm still me to meet him. With me I have tickets and brochures. 3) for those who obviously knows how to read and goes after 20 minutes hanging about in the garden and I meet, you don't have to tell me that the garden doesn't care if you can't see the villa inside. 4) Never ask this question to the gardener: it's worth visiting the garden? 5) do not dispose of garbage in the parking lot of the villa. 6) do not hide behind the plants, once inside, to avoid paying the ticket. 7) not to rip the Ivy that wraps certain statues of peschiera (the owners want it so). 8) holding hands with small children near tanks full of water because it can be dangerous. 9) do not defecate in the garden as they can make a dog, Villa Mansi has bathrooms accessible from the garden. 9) does not close the gate when you leave, working in the Garden can't hear the Bell of the Office Interior. 10) this notice is addressed to the French: do not pretend not to know English, leave aside your patriotic spirit and come meet the gardener. Don't go in the garden if you don't want to pay and pretend not to understand. On this you're already good on your behalf. Here, I'm done. Remember that are available to you, if you behave I'll be even more. Thank you
