  • We visited Villa Baciocchi on a Sunday afternoon to late spring. Actually we were gone because I had read of an event that would be held in the garden of the villa. At the entrance a nice girl shows us a bit of the history of the villa and it speaks of the two museums within it. We decide to visit them and discover two hidden pearls. The Zoo is full of animals, not only wildlife but also in other countries as well divided by topic area. The archaeological museum has many artifacts found in the surrounding area dating from the prehistoric period and the etrusco-Roman. In one room there is also a reconstruction of an ancient prehistoric hut. It is a pity that it is not highlighted as it should. Definitely deserves a more suitable location and definitely wider to give more breath and emphasize in particular the Zoological Museum, where the specimens on display are forced into a space, in my opinion, too narrow. It is definitely worth visiting, especially for families with school-age children.

  • The villa houses the municipal library and two very interesting museums: archaeological and zoological gardens. The latter in particular is rich in animal species and of enormous importance. Visit recommended for those who want to broaden the knowledge of the territory and go beyond the classic Tuscan tourist destinations (albeit wonderful).

  • I went with my boyfriend on a visit to the museums (archaeological and natural one). The museums are tiny, but this does not mean that they are very interesting, instructive and fascinating exhibits very well kept. Only advice is to increase information about the exhibits because sometimes were limited if not absent in some cases. For the rest, I would highly recommend the visit because the ticket price is ridiculous (2 euros). We will definitely be returning.

  • Museum of fauna from the world, interesting and well organized. Suitable for children. Ticket very cheap.

  • Villa Baciocchi: one of the attractions of the games of my childhood, a place to come back to his family who live at the side.
