  • In the Jubilee of 2000 they got funding that allowed him to be remodeled and it was possible to build even a hostel. This semi furnished Castle, is also used for weddings. It is the best preserved of the Castels. Guided tour, interestingly enough.

  • Wonderful Castle, renovated in a great, paying a ticket to four euros I did the tour, really very competent: the castle is not open to the public without a guide because of the risk that we run in some areas. Built by the grandfather of the future Countess Matilda, was originally a tower, similar to the nearby Rossenella which served to guard the valleys. Later Rossena evolved as a military fortress and passed into the hands of various dignitaries after the death of Matilda in the 12th century. Not to be missed, for all the kisses of historical places and nature walks, stunning view especially in spring. Recommend appropriate shoes for walking, this is a military facility and some steps may be poor.

  • The castle is located in a beautiful area, can only be visited with a guided tour and money is well spent to truly discover all curiosity concerning it. The guides are all very friendly and prepared and explaining it takes a passion really enviable.
