  • Personal opinion of course, God forbid. The cellars are nice but unfortunately much were not open for work in progress (and/or were in a hurry, given the season)-I expected more. Visit some travel (1 hr) but full price, and in my opinion a bit high. Our guide, Francesco, was clever-precise, professional and quite addictive. Wine tasting great even though I personally believe the price a bit too high (I mean bottles, not tastings)-will be the power of marketing super bottles:) are really good, but barbera or nebbiolo "moderately good" they are found in cellars less noble and less than half price

  • The rock in this area is easy to work so the villagers began in the 1500’s and 1600’s to carve out cellars for the storage of food, wine, and other goods. In the mid to late 1800’s, wine making, espec...  more »
  • We are regulars of Chamberlain, we love its wines and the cellars moot annually. This year a very welcome and much appreciated surprise: while visiting accompanies Francis, a young, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and ... one of those guys that every mother wants her daughter's boyfriend. With transportation emphasis and told us the secrets of the cellar, the proximity to Genoa but rain water that ends up in the Adriatic, we did sample the Pomorosso 2012, released just the day before, which already hints of a wine will age with satisfaction. I thank Francis for the sensitivity he had with us and especially with the blind person who was with us, without asking for anything involving him by having him touch the piles of bottles, moulds of wall and making him feel involved and happy. Young people so with bad things around us of Talia's you! Bravo, bravo, bravo and the next! Visit highly recommended, but don't forget to make an otherwise you will miss it. ..
