  • A difficult trekking but very charming, wonderful panorama can be admired. The trail is well marked, some are overcome with the help of chains hanging on the rocks. You get to San Fruttuoso to a bathroom and return by boat. Absolutely deserves. Advice to wear hiking boots (me, underestimating the path, I had some asics and in some places were not suitable) and carry water, especially if you decide to take the tour in the summer. To avoid for the little ones to avoid if you fear fire penetration with chains or suffer from Vertigo

  • Trail well marked and with stunning views. Breathtaking are but some overhanging steps with the help of chains especially in wet soil and rock. Perhaps best avoided.

Of course, you can make a round trip by different paths (splendid views of the sea and vegetation on the terrace), but you can also go to foot & back by boat (or conversely of course). This will allow you to take the time to quietly visit the Abbey, to eat there & why not enjoy swimming. It would be a shame not to stop to enjoy this magical place. In addition, for people not wanting to do too much vertical drop, or prone to Vertigo (the return by the overhanging cornice is a little air) it is an excellent alternative to discover the beauty of this hike without too tiring...
