  • A journey back to understand what our grandparents lived. Remember what we were helps us understand what we have become today. History repeats itself.

  • The small museum is well laid out. For complete visit just an hour (but upstairs there is also a library and a lounge with computer stations where power further go into emigration). Currently, the Museum is also little noticed and, in fact, the turnout even in one afternoon during the week of ferragosto, or high season, was quite low; It's a shame, really worth a visit. Is dedicated to migration of calabrians and Italians, from the late 19th century onwards. So, today, is a very topical theme, reminding us that a century ago was us to emigrate to survive, we Italians fear who didn't want us to go to their countries. We do Ocean crossings under inhumane conditions. As others before me have written, leave with the feeling of "having received a punch in the stomach". Next door there is also a nice café (just came to tell you the truth) Recommended, for everyone, young and old. Recommended especially because well done.

  • Museum of the history of Italian emigration and calabrese. With interactive installations and well cared for. It is worth a visit.
