  • How you can transform your family from artigina of missives to the postal monopoly holder of the emperors of Ausburgo? A history to discover along the narrow streets of this village bergamasco which tells of entrepreneurship that characterizes the bergamaschi. On the walls is the emblem of the Badger: the animal that gave them the name, the Horn that today for all you mail symbol and the Imperial Eagle. Here begins a tour which then must continue at the Rate in Bergamo (search ' in the name of ' rate in google): here the hardiness and determination of the ancestors, there the triumph of the family who, at the height of wealth invested in agriculture, that ancient job in mountain town gave all to survive and to which they returned wisely their children's children.

  • Perhaps because it is not accessible by car (you leave it at 200 meters from the village) Cornello has stored the whole atmosphere of the middle ages in Lombardy. Beautiful walk under the arcades or in the alleys between the houses well kept and still inhabited. Many opportunities for themed exhibitions, visit the Museum and the Chiesetta.Se you have one hour of your time, a walk through the Woods takes you to the hamlet of Oneta with Harlequin (tradition).

  • Nice location overseeing mountain slopes...large verandah and fresh food. We landed there by chance but we are glad we did. Very well received by the staff who used her phone to show us the stuff mentioned in their italian menu. Enjoyed a good lunch. And to top it all, the Chef dropped us to San Pellegrino. Cool misadventure 👍
