  • The Museum is very interesting. I loved it especially the part of cetaceans. Has my 6 year old loved especially the part of aquariums and dinosaurs. A nice morning passed family. Staff very friendly. We arrived with the camper, parked in a yard down the street to get to the Museum, also did a gentle walk to the villa housing the Museum. Family rate € 22.

  • If Sundays are full of bad weather, this can be a great idea x spend an afternoon! My 5 year old loves museums, this made me visit three times and each time I have to say it is always a pleasure for us! Exhibitions are always different and very interesting, very impressive!

  • Already at first glance the imposing structure appeals to you even before you enter. This is one of the oldest museums in the world become this time de ' Medici in ' 500. You can visit within the area devoted to mineralogy, history of territory formation in geologic eras, animals that have been studied in the past and are embalmed or under alcohol and whale skeletons, beautiful also the area dedicated to dinosaurs with life-size reconstructions. Last but not least the Italy's largest freshwater aquarium with 36 tanks with total of 60000 litres of water. Many species of fish many personally never seen before from all over the world. You can buy one ticket to visit everything, don't give the maximum rating because there are several halls under restoration to be completed. The overall price is right for what there is to see. It takes about 4 hours to see them all and without dwelling too much on every thing to read. Be improved definitely signage inside because sometimes you enter in the halls on the wrong side. Still worth to spend a pleasant day and learn something.
