Lago di Caldonazzo is a lake in Trentino, Italy. At an elevation of 449 m, its surface area is 5.38 km².LocationThe lake is located in the valley communities of Alta Valsugana e BersntolSportWater sports like the canoe, the sail, the wind surfing and water skiing is famous on the lake. The lake has played an important role; it was, and still is, the "training ground" for Thomas Degasperi, water skier Trentino specialist in the discipline slalom, current European Champion and World.EventsMany events take place on the lake, especially during the summer.The most important is the Palio dei Draghi (or Dragon Boat ), a competition between boats driven by many rowers. The boats are vaguely reminiscent of the shape of dragons, hence the name of the race.Every year on August 14 a fireworks display is organised to celebrate Ferragosto.National Youth of canoe is hosted every year in the last weekend of August.

  • On returning from Vigo di Fassa, through beautiful mountains, we stopped to visit this Lake. very nice. but being out of season, now desert, with enclosed spaces ... beautiful nature, in the middle of the mountains

  • With my family spent a weekend in levico and one afternoon we decided to go to Lake Caldonazzo even if was mid September parking fees a bit dear but the place nice and relaxing the girls have played all the time in the water with ducks and fish who came to shore. Definitely beautiful day trip with the bike ride to the Lake and many campsites.

  • We were sitting on the camping Mario so it more is just across the street. We went there with the bike back and are driven to the boats and have rented a boat but were back within an hour. Just be still have swum many pebbles along the side. The water was nice and fresh. Are still some creature drinking at Pata Pata. There we returned back to the caravan. .
