  • Located in the heart of the city, dominates the small village of calasetta. From the terrace in front of the tower you can enjoy the beach and, in the distance, the island of San Pietro with the town of Carloforte. Impressive Spanish Tower, probably one of the largest in Sardinia

  • Terminated to erect in 1757, the Kingdom of Savoy to defend the coast south west of Sardinia, is the most beautiful and impressive in the series is in the territory. I was originally equipped with two guns, a blunderbuss and some rifles, for a command formed by 4 men. Used during the second world war as a detachment of Martina Militare italiana. It is owned by the municipality of Calasetta who bought it in 1875. The latest restoration, having hosted in the upper floor a restaurant known not only in Sardinia, has unearthed the lower floor, with a rocky floor which is the basis of the land on which it rests. Downstairs there is a archaeological collection, donation of Reverend Tore Armenians, protected by Crystal that forms the new decking. On the upper floor, accessible by an external staircase, art exhibitions throughout the year and celebrated weddings in a civil ceremony. Through internal staircase gives access to the wonderful terrace with 360° panoramic view, from which you can admire the most beautiful sunsets in the entire archipelago of Sulcis.

  • Strategically placed at the highest point of the village, the tower is the point with the best view of Calasetta, allowing you to enjoy the view on both sides of the promontory. Highly recommended especially at sunset.
