  • This is our second visit after about five years. We struggled to find the same path for the first time, which had made it possible to delve below the waterfall. We couldn't figure out why until we saw the remains of a bridge by which it was possible to reach the part closer to the waterfall so less risky and torturous. Was put about half way between the entrance and the waterfall itself, another wooden structure with steps just behind the wall, not practicable at all, as some tourists behind us, have given up on Ascend because unsure of the path. For those of us who have managed to go past the point, the landscape really pays off no doubt. It is important to be well prepared and not do it yourself.

  • I went last week with my GF. I state that I have never been a big frequenter of the mountains but this excursion he gassed a thousand ... surrounded by divine, in a scree of 5 km where the ups and downs you test if you do it with as much heat as when I went, but the beauty of the landscapes is the heat or fatigue. eye that is by nature more dispersed so meetings can be extreme ... for example, I ran into a few cm a snake ... a nose looked like a viperetta but I'm not sure ... the giaione ends with il rifugio degli alpini great to refresh and relax with a picnic lunch ... from there, we get to the falls ... Unfortunately the landslides have destroyed the maintenance headache easy jumpers ... now just climbing on wet rocks by Raghav and water fording the torrentino forming brings the power of arrivals under waterfall. Pure power that repays the trouble ... ah the sconsoglio with small children ... too complicated the return ...

  • The Oten valley is a unique and kind of different landscape here in the east Dolomites. The water fall at the end of the canyon is fascinating. There is also a rifugio where you can eat and rest. A really easy hike of one hour.
