  • I was at Cagliari several times, always for work. I missed this part of the history of the provincial capital. You have to devote time to work but don't forget the time for culture. While the monuments are there, we are passing through. Go there

  • Besides being one of the most characteristic medieval towers, has a breathtaking ... it's worth dealing with all those stairs!

  • The tower was built around 1307. and has a small sculpture of an elephant on one corner. It is about 40 meters high and open one one side with a wooden construction that was used as a detention place.

  • The tallest point of the town. Nicely renovated this ancient gate. Great view of the entire harbour. There are no elevator just stairs and very steep ones. Definitely needs to visit.
  • Great to see it and imagine that this was once the entrance of the city.
  • The cute elephant is smaller the expected.
  • The views are breathtaking!
  • The Tower of the elephant stands the medieval walls of Cagliari and dominates over the whole territory. Second in aletezza only the Tower of San Pancrazio, the Tower of the elephant is accessible to visitors every day of the week until 19.00. From the top you can admire a fantastic landscape that takes your breath away. I would highly recommend! Suitable for families.
