Where to stay in Cagliari

Enjoy some of the best beaches on Sardinia by booking your stay at a seafront hotel in Cagliari. Though quite pricey at the height of the tourist season, waterfront hotels conveniently located just minutes from the airport offer access to private swimming pools, spas, fitness centers, fine restaurants, and secure parking areas. To experience the authentic spirit of Sardinia without breaking the bank, consider staying at a private house or a family-run inn farther away from the tourist-driven town center.

  • This Fig tree is the oldest In Cagliari. Can't remember exactly how old, but very impressive - the air and ground roots something to behold! The church is very old and not like any other we have seen ...  more »

  • Built by the Augustinians thanks to donation of Philip II King of Spain is a jewel vilified for decades. In its foundations are the ancient Roman Termæ. But the elevator is broken for years. Meanwhile, the old quarter is reduced thanks to the municipality to a Kasbah.

  • Church with paintings and interesting statues. Entering from the Largo Carlo Felice we cross the garden, here is a mural with the history of the Saint, surmounted by a wooden sculpture depicting Christ. Worth a visit.

  • the Church of sant ' agostino is a good example of what a tourist can do: visit the monument and contribute to her recovery. It is one of the rare examples of Renaissance art in Sardinia. Marina district, near the Palace of rinascente. It has two entrances: the main sta in via Baylle, while the secondary, with access to the sacristy, located on largo carlo felice, and has a beautiful garden with a mural that sums up the story of the Saint's remains, hosted in Cagliari from 300 to 700 in the hypogeum that stands in front of this church, still on the loose. Inside a vast environment has several interesting statues, paintings and a beautiful ceiling decorated with rosettes
