  • Saint Anthony is the patron saint of animals! I went there the first time for this ... the atmosphere is a journey in ancient times ... and spiritual! Rich in works of art and historical references. To visit along the walk between the shops ...

  • On the main street and shopping area of Cagliari, via Manno, promises this beautiful baroque church with an octagonal Dome, adorned with altars and some interesting altarpieces. Also notable is the portal. Passing it is worth taking a look.

  • Seems to be distant km from the crowd and the crowd, who are just on your doorstep! This church is in this position, as a plaque at the entrance, from 1723, but actually an original nucleus seems to exist since the 14th century, as a chapel of then city hospital. Has a particular history specifically explained in the brochures that can be found in the various languages, once you enter. The entrance is peculiar: the statue of the Holy hermit, by Scipione April, stands in a niche below which a coat of arms tells us that the Church was officiated by Sallah di san Giovanni di Dio, Portuguese priest founder of fatebenefratelli. Particular is the octagonal structure with side chapels dedicated to Saints/Mary, one in particular at Madonna d ' Itria. In this church is headquartered, confraternity dedicated to her l already prior to the existence of the Church. If you are lucky you can admire in the sacristy other works belonging to the brotherhood. Of note, in the atrium of the Church itself, one of the works of Lonis dotted around the city.
