  • It is true that Hotal but not find anybody except the caretaker ... the site is free ... deserves a small contribution but also a guide for small groups

  • The site of great interest and archaeological importance is free and accessible by public transportation. Unfortunately the site is not completely open. Please note that until recently was a place completely overlooked and in the last 2 centuries has been affected by a constant activity of cava. The signs are still visible. In addition, the site has been the subject of a bitter legal battle, still not completely finished, the area of the Hill was to be iinteressata by a residential housing project. The activities to develop tourism on the side housing project have interrupted several times. Still so much you can do in terms of valuation. While waiting for a few and simple tourism project organic enough action to make the site more accessible. Despite being near bus stops is not easy to find, in the brochure posted in photo and probably can be found in the info point of Cagliari is the qr code with the gps coordinates of the input, but some signs from the main road at the entrance wouldn't hurt. The illustrative poster (bilingual ENG/eng) is really minimal as well as paper brochures available c/o guardians service entrance. Again with just so much you can do. Toilets and clean. Equip brochures, handouts or better still go with a good tour guide.

  • Cagliari retains this gem not sufficiently valued. The necropolis whose origins date back to the Phoenicians on Sardinia is an interesting area of archaeology to visit whenever you can. ...

  • This is a wonderful place to visit for its historic significance There is an expensive road within the walls but NO signposting as you approach A detailed map from the civic information centre gave a bus number but staff there insisted on another bus What they did not say was that a 25 minute walk from Yenne gets you there Corso Vittorio Emanuel 11 into Viale Trento walk along past shops and villas to Via Zara and turn right up the hill Then it is left along Via Falzarego and the entrance is at the end of the street
  • It's very interesting if you like ancient sites, and it's free. Hard to find because the locals don't seem to know where it is, even the bus drivers. Take the number one bus to trento, there is a big market there on Sunday morning, take via zara and turn left at the top. Also see the Temple of the vipers in viale savendrace.
  • Is a place definitely worth visiting that describes a part of the ancient history of Cagliari. Many tombs carved into the rock despite the ravages caused by the quarries for the extraction of material. See a stretch of acquedodotto that even brought water from Villamassargia. Pity that some frescoed tombs are closed and not open to the public. Site to take care of and find out further. Vist the Guide

  • The largest necropolis in the Mediterranean just reopened after years of decay ... An emotional journey in the Archaeological Park in the Centre of the village. Luxury should not be underestimated in Cagliari which already alone is worth the trip. Welcome Back Tuvixeddu! Expect, the tombs you can visit completely.

  • Unique and spectacular perfectly kept though still expanding and under construction. Undervalued and little known yet impressive when you consider that this is the largest Punic necropolis on the Mediterranean. Is located in the Centre of Cagliari, just minutes from the airport and admission is free.

Enjoy some of the best beaches on Sardinia by booking your stay at a seafront hotel in Cagliari. Though quite pricey at the height of the tourist season, waterfront hotels conveniently located just minutes from the airport offer access to private swimming pools, spas, fitness centers, fine restaurants, and secure parking areas. To experience the authentic spirit of Sardinia without breaking the bank, consider staying at a private house or a family-run inn farther away from the tourist-driven town center.
