  • An impressive place, which allows to imagine the layers of history that pile up in Cagliari. We visited him almost by accident, the place not being on our guides. Unfortunately (29 December) there was no guide service but very good time as this dive in a Punic necropolis.

  • Impressive necropolis just steps from downtown ... too bad there was a guide that could describe and explain the whole thing. ... All in all well worth a visit for those who like us is the first experience in Cagliari. Imposing even the Roman aqueduct that runs along the necropolis.

  • Sadly most of the good stuff is not on view for the public. I would not recommend this place unless you REALLY want to see it.  more »

  • This is a wonderful place to visit for its historic significance There is an expensive road within the walls but NO signposting as you approach A detailed map from the civic information centre gave a bus number but staff there insisted on another bus What they did not say was that a 25 minute walk from Yenne gets you there Corso Vittorio Emanuel 11 into Viale Trento walk along past shops and villas to Via Zara and turn right up the hill Then it is left along Via Falzarego and the entrance is at the end of the street
  • It's very interesting if you like ancient sites, and it's free. Hard to find because the locals don't seem to know where it is, even the bus drivers. Take the number one bus to trento, there is a big market there on Sunday morning, take via zara and turn left at the top. Also see the Temple of the vipers in viale savendrace.
  • Beautiful scenic location. Park freely open to the public. Shame no chance of seeing anything of the interior decorations of the graves. Obviously just pictures or drawings.

  • For the fundamental reason that simple ... the history of this wonderful site will never be evaluated properly, although I must admit, that great strides have been made ... from the first wonky wooden beams that served as the setting for part of the Hill ... many years ago in order to reach a few cosina!!! Now you can tell they really the makings of a real archaeological site, and mine is not intended as a diminutive review indeed ... for crying out loud the steps became giant strides of course with the collaboration of many people and organizations we should now treat more the preservation of that and make it increasingly known!! Even at the level of citizens giving naturally possible for tourists to admire so much beauty within walking distance from the city centre!

  • Fascinating place that brings us back to Punic times and their burials. Amazing to see that were dug by hand. The entrance is absolutely free and free
