  • We are talking about the Mediterranean area's largest Punic necropolis. Unfortunately you can only see a small part of what remains. The good news is that the municipality has tried to enhance the site for what is, by placing a green area with Mediterranean vegetation where possible and some benches. The panoramic view is quite impressive. To improve the exposure of the site with more descriptive panels. Important you insert a data point. Don't miss it

  • I took a walk in this archaeological park, on a wide concrete path which goes right through it and which is the only one accesible to visitors. However, one could get some great views of the necropoli...  more »
  • Few People, let alone others, knows that the largest surviving Punic necropolis is open all year pretty much all day. You can book a guide (absolutely necessary) and soak in the history. Pity there is not a proper tourism marketing (but this is a problem that affects the whole of Sardinia) and it would be desirable for a small convenience store or at least fake bar service. The toilets are decent you are advised not to drive because, being a closed road will be problematic parking
