  • We agree that the view is the most beautiful of Cagliari. The real "Belvedere" is here. Another story is the Castle, much less imposing and majestic as it looks from anywhere in the city you can see (and there are many). Try then to infiltrate it. Removed the uninteresting, modern renovations and therefore remain very few original environments (three or maybe four?) that are unloaded! All explanations on the history of the Castle are collected into single point but so do not need to stop, are the same ones that are on the internet with ease. Upstairs the gruesome special exhibition "Texidos" of Fiber Art by Ms Maher. It was ugly throw down two lines on each work, so as to try to bring to this phantom Fiber Art those like me had never even heard of it? Maybe others will appreciate, I couldn't do it today!

  • From Castello di San Michele you have a fantastic view over Cagliari, and the history of the fortifications are also very interesting.

  • The visit to the castle of San Michele it is definitely worthy of attention for its historical value it represents. However, apart from the exterior of the most suggestive for grandeur and Majesty, inside looks bare, used appropriately--at this time--as contemporary art exhibition and sometimes as cultural meeting room. I was expecting a "furniture" inside more in tune with the Castle, but obviously everything is lost during the long period of neglect. It was done a great job to make it habitable inside through the construction of major superstructure that do not prevent the vision of what's left of the old structure (you can see the water across the floor, the old kitchen), and you can access two of the four towers. You can instead go up to the terrace above the towers because there's just physically a doorway.

  • Beautiful park with trails for those who want to practice both for those who want a breathtaking view. Pity that the castle is largely untapped and is to visit only when there are exhibitions

  • The restoration made the Castle an impressive exhibition space with views over cagliari. To visit with one of the exhibitions it houses.

  • The restoration has not benefited to the Interior. Nice space for exhibitions.
