  • John is a very nice person and affable, friendly and knows how to appreciate the beauty of this village full of history. Worth visiting. You arrive before mezzogirorno, in time to see even the tiled floor of the Church that I lost me. And Giovanni will make you ' again. The rock shop is a magical place. Help you too by going to ... Visit and transmitting to others the experience.

  • To celebrate the anniversary with my girlfriend I decided to take her to Palermo. Having visited and stayed in Palermo, upon our return to Catania, castles, I suggested we make a stop at the castle of Caccamo. Were the 12:00 and knew of the shutdown at 13 so we did some things in a hurry. Climbing up the castle we noticed quickly "a souvenir" and we agreed to go there after the visit. After visiting the Castle a distinguished gentleman and polite. John invited us to enter. Looking in the face with my fiancee astonished, what we felt was a souvenir was nothing but a small house in the rock where we discover small and large tools that were used years ago. Mr. John tells us in detail everyday life was like in that House. After explaining invites us to taste typical local products, which I could not taste for my intolerance to eggs, and explains and leaves various tracts of various events organized with his participation in Caccamo. we buy within various things, from cookies to postcards and magnets and let's go. A must to visit, recommended to everyone. Thanks again to Mr. John, who thanks to his experience and thorough knowledge of the place we enriched with additional information if you want to know, in my view, the "true" story of the Castle. Visited 4 December 2016

  • After visiting the castle we see from the workshop into the rock. A distinguished and gentle Lord invites us to enter. And here the wonderful find. A small house in the rock where we discover small and large tools that were used years ago: iron, the tool for making pasta at home, a real kitchen equipped with seats and many other subjects that intrigue. The owner, Mr. John, thoughtful and attentive with visitors tells us how was everyday life in that House. After explaining invites us to taste typical local products: honey aromatic balsamic vinegar, hazelnut cream, cinnamon cookies, cookies with Pistachio, marsala liqueur. I stop otherwise I should keep writing. We also bought a magnet with the Castle. Place to visit, recommended to everyone. Thanks again to Mr. John, who with his desire to narrate the origins of the place made us discover a magical and ancient.
