  • Village and locals of Cabras is far beyond a simple set of houses. Everything here oozes mysticism for those who wait the feast of the most revered for cabraresi which is Christ Jesus figure of the Holy Savior. The corsa degli scalzi is the most intense and the sacrifice that the people do it to honor his benevolence. These little houses are nothing more than muristenes or cumbessias (in Sardinian language) is needed of support right around the time of novenas and festivities. It pains me to say that anyone who regrets the sets western of the past does not know whereof he speaks, and as if the shrine of Saint Constantine in Sedilo was transformed in a scene from a movie fantasy. Probably if you wanted to do a scenario western could have been done in other locations in Sinis but not them. For the rest of the country by a sense of peace and walk in its narrow streets and truly relaxing and enjoyable leaving people time to sit and reflect.

  • A village which in the past has been used for many Italian westerns, now many of those structures no longer exist but the Valley's well worth a visit, especially for the feast of St. Savior with the corsa degli scalzi, you can't miss it.
