Parco Natura Viva, Bussolengo

(4.3/5 based on 2,200+ reviews on the web)
Spend a day learning about wild animals from around the world at Parco Natura Viva, a wildlife park established in 1969 and located in the picturesque hills of Verona province. The sprawling park covers an area of about 40 hectares (99 acres), and shelters nearly 1,500 indigenous and exotic animals, which represent over 250 species of wild creatures. Each year the park attracts nearly half a million visitors of all ages. You can explore two main areas inside this park, both of which are designed to keep the visitors and the animals as safe as possible. The safari area allows visitors to stay inside their vehicles, while the fauna zone is for pedestrians only. The park also includes a dinosaur display area, the first site in the country with life-size models of prehistoric reptiles. • Nice, nice to see the animals and who takes care of them constantly with professionalism and heart. A park surrounded by greenery, where you have fun listening and admiring the animal species that inhabit our planet. Nice for young and old alike

  • A really nice Park that every year improves its facilities, it is always a pleasure for me to visit it, ever since I was a kid, whether with family or friends. It is important that everyone knows that this is not a zoo in the classic sense of the word, but it's a protection Center for endangered species, no animal is then captured in the wild to be transported there. Basic idea of the park so commendable. The species present are numerous, and some very fascinating, of course not always possible to see all animal, this is because as rightly pens are expansive and as similar as possible all natural environment in which the animal should live, so even with guards and blind spots. The Park also offers several dining options, I've only tried 2, but I have to say they were of good quality. I gave the maximum score, however there are 2 faults not irrelevant, cleaning and maintenance of the toilets is really poor, also some time ago I happened to go to the park with the family holding a reduced ticket (until 12 years old I think) tribute taken with a box of cereal, upon our arrival in cash there is however said that for them the coupon and only valid finonad an age lower than that of the normal ticket reduced, this was clearly not true, since no regulation was specified and indeed emphasised l corrected age, in fact at the end there was offered a ticket. Unfortunately from what I read, have taken similar cases ... Sin.

  • Beautiful and neat. Divided by subject areas, so that we can organize and understand the visit. Each area is dotted with explanatory poster of animals and their habitat. Possibility of a small but fun Safari. Inside there are kiosks to eat but also picnic areas. Ample paid parking

  • Amazing park. For families and children. It takes one day to visit it all.
  • Great Park, all the enclosures are very well set up and give plenty of space. a great place for a very full day with the family.
  • Great day out and the animals are really well looked after which is a pleasing surprise. Focus on conservation and education rather than profits
  • Very cool Park with 2 parts, safari and zoo. Plenty of animals from all continents including lions, tiger, cheetah, rhino, hippo, hyenas, giraffe and many more. Definitely recommend.
  • Great place, and great organization you need a full day to go over everything
