(4.3/5 based on 2,200+ reviews on the web)
Spend a day learning about wild animals from around the world at Parco Natura Viva, a wildlife park established in 1969 and located in the picturesque hills of Verona province. The sprawling park covers an area of about 40 hectares (99 acres), and shelters nearly 1,500 indigenous and exotic animals, which represent over 250 species of wild creatures. Each year the park attracts nearly half a million visitors of all ages. You can explore two main areas inside this park, both of which are designed to keep the visitors and the animals as safe as possible. The safari area allows visitors to stay inside their vehicles, while the fauna zone is for pedestrians only. The park also includes a dinosaur display area, the first site in the country with life-size models of prehistoric reptiles.
