Categories: Zoos & Aquariums, Nature & Parks, Outdoor Activities
Spend a day learning about wild animals from around the world at Parco Natura Viva, a wildlife park established in 1969 and located in the picturesque hills of Verona province. The sprawling park covers an area of about 40 hectares (99 acres), and shelters nearly 1,500 indigenous and exotic animals, which represent over 250 species of wild creatures. Each year the park attracts nearly half a million visitors of all ages. You can explore two main areas inside this park, both of which are designed to keep the visitors and the animals as safe as possible. The safari area allows visitors to stay inside their vehicles, while the fauna zone is for pedestrians only. The park also includes a dinosaur display area, the first site in the country with life-size models of prehistoric reptiles. Take a look at our Bussolengo tourist route planner to schedule your visit to Parco Natura Viva and learn about what else to see and do during your holiday.

Con questo posto avevo un conto in sospeso da molti anni. Infatti, dovevo andarci fa piccolo ero vicinissimo ma, causa problemi all'auto di mio babbo, ho solo potuto intravvederlo dalla strada. In fact, I had to go I was close but does little, causes problems to the car of my father, I only have a glimpse from the street. This year, so, having traveled in nearby Verona, I had no doubts:d didn't see it. And so it was. In the hotel where I stayed, got a coupon of 3 €. We had no trouble finding the Park because it was very well marked. The parking of the Park costs € 2. At the entrance, the cashier has the precaution to tell us two things: that the Park would be closing at 17:30 (in his view to see it well would serve at least three hours) and that with the ticket of entry was also included on safari. Since we got there too early kindly advised to return the next day to be able to fully enjoy this site. Many thanks but we decide to enter. Discounted ticket 17 €. The place is very clean, the animals are well taken care of and is an interesting place. Personally recommend it. Things I didn't like: 1) the closing time should be postponed; 2) lacks the WiFi; 3) parking money could be avoided. Otherwise ok.show original

The animals seem to be kept in a humane manner, there are many kiosks even though most were closed. The price is slightly high in my opinion and to pay 2 euros on a dirt road is in my view exaggerated. Nice to stop by, but not to scream.show original

You can see the animals more or less well. We are just insecure, some animals have lots of space, others slightly less. In the part, which you can ride with the car, it's very interesting. Also because you are this with the car can drive on. One very close emerge, the more dangerous (eg many animals. Lions) are separated. Wen, a train or electric vehicle is made available, which would be something organic and emit no exhaust gases, it would Ave better. Of the fun factor from top! Ecologically and with regard for the animals we are not sure. PS: for strollers and wheelchairs very high almost insurmountable slopesshow original
Great day out and the animals are really well looked after which is a pleasing surprise. Focus on conservation and education rather than profits
Very cool Park with 2 parts, safari and zoo. Plenty of animals from all continents including lions, tiger, cheetah, rhino, hippo, hyenas, giraffe and many more. Definitely recommend.
zanimiv živalski vrt... prava atrakcija je safari - vožnja z avtom med živalmi, gepardi, žirafami... dinozavre si raje oglejte v Volčjem potoku, ko pač so ali v Styrasic parku.
This is ZOO much fun! Safari with your own car, hundreds of different animals and nicely kept tidy.
Simply amazing, beautiful animals, so many species! The park is literally surrounded by nature, there's also a greenhouse that simulate the hot and humid weather with beautiful coloured butterflies.
