  • The castle is beautiful and well cared for structurally speaking; the scenic spot ditto and comes after a nice walk. The interiors and the Museum Ripa instead are a disappointment. Learn more about what you will find and decide consciously whether to go there. Compared to the history of the Castle ... compared to bond with the place and the culture of the place, little. Sorry but I got out without that I was nothing but a series of stimuli that I've already forgotten ... OK that Messner will be vital, but frankly. Some chapters then quite foolish. The real scandal is still the access price: inexplicable and inexcusable in hindsight. If you are not interested in the variety of cultures (respectable) avoid

  • Very interesting exhibition... worthwhile and interesting... Much information about life in the mountains and their people

  • Bruneck Castle is a good attraction for the town of Pustertal. Scenic and well preserved, but the Interior is worth visiting because they have the Messner Museum with collections of his travels around the world. Unforgettable the yurt mounted and can be visited inside it with all his artifacts! Arrive after a short but wonderful walk uphill that discovers all the mountains around.

  • A nice castle, if a little simple compared to others I've been to. It certainly looks picturesque in its position on the hill top (especially lit up at night), and it's a pleasant walk up to it from the town centre or over the bridge from the war cemetery. I'm not sure I'd bother paying for entry, but you get in if you visit the Messner Mountain Museum based inside the castle - and that's definitely worth doing.
  • Today Friday, August 26, 2016 the site from the Castle closed and so I didn't go on site to check them out. Friends tell me that it is opened. Congratulations x the vaunted accuracy South Tyrolean!!! Piero

  • Well preserved castle became the seat of the Museum Messner but there is no evidence of its origins in part 2 Sun rooms

  • Amazing place.
  • Beautiful castle and vision you need to up there! Too bad not having had time to inspect it.
