  • Close to the Centre of Brunico, situated on a hill within walking distance. Great view of the Valley. Well preserved, the interior features the Museum of Messner, interesting to see.

  • Externally Castle is a typical 17th-18th centuries. It can be reached with a short walk from the town centre. Inside Messner Mountain Museum of peoples, has very interesting. Explanations, customs and traditions of the peoples who live in the mountains, around the world, with locations and original artifacts

  • Built in the early 1500 by Prince Kirchberg, take a walk on the Hill, from there the view is great, going through a doorway of medieval origin. Inside there is a Museum designed by climber Messner.

  • A nice castle, if a little simple compared to others I've been to. It certainly looks picturesque in its position on the hill top (especially lit up at night), and it's a pleasant walk up to it from the town centre or over the bridge from the war cemetery. I'm not sure I'd bother paying for entry, but you get in if you visit the Messner Mountain Museum based inside the castle - and that's definitely worth doing.
  • Today Friday, August 26, 2016 the site from the Castle closed and so I didn't go on site to check them out. Friends tell me that it is opened. Congratulations x the vaunted accuracy South Tyrolean!!! Piero

  • Amazing place.
  • Beautiful castle and vision you need to up there! Too bad not having had time to inspect it.
