  • It is worth climbing from Como with the funicular. We went on in day of mist and we could not see the Lake but still worth it. The beautiful clouds on the mountains were and in addition it was a super sunny, disappearing again reach as. It is true that it costs a bit up because it is all uphill, but the effort is rewarded.

  • Bellissima la vista de faro in the middle of the mountain at 909 meters high! A nice surprise! Although to get there need a great desire to walk 2 km this k waiting for you on arrival is the paradise of the Lake and the ability to rise above on top of the lighthouse with only 2 euros! Visit almost obligatory if you want to walk!

  • This is one of those places that you enjoy reach after a wonderful walk in the woods. The sight from this tower (or just from the entrance if you prefer skipping the stairs) is a rewarding experience: in a bright day it's easy to see as far as Milan' skyline. I'd recommend bringing water and a couple of sandwiches so you can sit and relax
  • Loved the view from high up above Lake Como, stunning! Probably best a sunset if possible. The walk up from the funicular is quite steep so where good shoes. There are benches at the top to rest and a lovely restaurant just down from the lookout point called Polenta, serves traditional food.
  • Best view from above to admire all the city of Como, must see!
  • Best view (both upstairs and downstairs) over Como and its surroundings, including the skyline of Milan, and the snowcapped mountains in the West!
  • An hour or so walk from the top of the funiculare. Good spot for some photos. Didn't pay to go in the top of the tower because the view from the bottom was good enough.
