  • The three men, three umitts in local dialect, are the three small statues depicting the three Wise Kings in which the relics are preserved, bones of the phalanxes of the hands, belonging to the three astronomers who became "kings" in popular belief and mentioned Evangelist Matthew. Their real existence has not yet been ascertained so these three phalanxes could be of anyone who lived in the Holy Land 2019 years ago. The church is of ancient origins, was founded by San Carlo Borromeo in the sixteenth century, underwent countless modifications and reconstructions in the fine centuries to arrive at the present appearance that dates back to the last century. Simple facade enhanced by the new fountain recently made in the churchyard. Beautiful the bell tower with its large exposed bells built in 1751. Impressive interior with three long aisles with large Corinthian columns, large frescoed dome like the barrel vault of the center aisle. In the right aisle, at the altar of the Three Wise Men you can admire the beautiful painting and the urn containing the three silver statues.

  • The good Borromini, said that every church had to be built with materials as poor as terracotta or simple masonry, yet thanks to the constructive skills of the architect, each building is loaded with sophisticated and intelletualistic connotations. The Church of San Bartolomeo, located in Brugherio, although it was built with simple materials and very humble, but fails to load the characteristics of which were loaded the architecture of Borromini, As the structure seems vaguely remember the prison dell'ucciardone in Palermo, without obviously the bell tower, the only distinction between the two architectures. Inside, the ceiling was frescoed modestly, trying to emulate the style of a late-Baciccio for the bodies While the light and the colors were inspired by the Stalinist captivity camps still undiscovered by mankind.

  • The Church received its name in memory of Archbishop of Milan, Carlo Borromeo, who has not left the city during the time of the terrible plague erupted in the year 1575. He also donated most of his clothes and Church tapestries for the needy and organized a procession to comforting infected. After his death in 1584, Carlo Borromeo was declared a local Saint, and later this decision was supported by Pope Paul V, canonized by the Archbishop.
