  • Located in the belly of the Teatro Verdi in Brindisi, this archaeological site of some size but can't shake feelings that generally the findings of antiquity are able to move. Open only on certain dates, access is free and consists of an elevated Boardwalk that allows you to view the remains of a Roman settlement of more than 2000 years ago road with signs explaining and inform about various sections below. The whole is informally "cold" in the emotional impact for perhaps the choice of lighting that though doesn't seem suitable to enhance the widely present exhibits and maybe because everything is eventually in a sort of hallway ahead: in short, the effort to make available the site there was, but it's like missing something exciting than the story that those ancient Roman ruins they want to express.
