  • The space of the piazza and beautiful, the buildings have a unique style, which personally I wasn't crazy about and especially jars with the rest of the architecture of the city

  • Between 1928 and ' 32, took me by the regime in the framework of urban redevelopment in the historic centres of Northern Italy medium-sized towns, the Tower of victory square in Brescia, the first reinforced concrete skyscraper. The skyscraper was born as a new architectural genre in Chicago, after the fire of 1871 that destroyed the city of Illinois. Characterized by a large volume concentrated on a small area and by a modular structure simple and quick implementation, immediately became the emblem of America's industrial and technological, architectural mirror of a company on the rise worldwide. The origin of the term American skyscraper is to be found in the word that was used in the 18th century to denote the highest masts that held the sails in English ships.

  • Among the many glimpses of Brescia thats what most of all remember somehow the two decades. Nothing dramatic, for heaven's sake, even that represented a part of the history of Italy in the latter century. Certain architectural solutions, however, are a little at odds with the rest of a city that still took a high turn over the years and still has in some areas thoroughly shrug off that time. The square itself is an area that deserves attention and which could be enhanced with some small measure without going to undermine their original design that still has its own dignity and sense.
