  • I love this place. I walked to it from the AC Marriott and spent a full day walking around. If you walk to it and do not drive make sure you are in pretty good shape. When I got to it I walked up thro...  more »
  • It is a nice place to chill out in a nice sunny day. Brescia is small and the castle is not far from the city centre. Given the famous stories of the battles, the castle is a place worth visiting.  more »
  • Perched on Cidneo Hill, in a natural environment that serves as one of the "green lungs" of the city, the Castle of Brescia is one of the most interesting fortified complexes in northern Italy, in whi...  more »

  • Splendid castle with a view over the town. Antique, but the exterior is open to the public, which makes it a great place for a stroll above the polluted metropolis. There's also a museum with arms (and art, of course) but it's not necessary to see those to feel impressed. If only navigating around the castle was easier (it took some time to find the best views), I would rate this place higher. With the trees in the way, finding a good vantage point took time, but it was worth it. It must be beautiful in spring...
  • The castle is located almost on city center, over the hill with a very nice view of Brescia city and around. It has access by car or bus. You may also walk through the trails. The castle itself is nice, with many buildings composing it.
  • Beautiful view and such a great place to learn and meditate about the past.
  • Worth exploring, much larger than you may imagine!
  • It is a beautiful place with a nice view over Brescia and it has two amazing museums. An antique weapons museum and a miniature italian railway museum. You shoul definitely see both of them.
