Tickets cost €9 per person, the first part of the tour is to planetary observation reclining on inclined armchairs. The girl you describe is very prepared. So far so good. Now let's move on to the second part of the evening takes place on the Tower, observation through a telescope is interesting but I would recommend to Mr. David being more polite and more clear with visitors. That night there was a girl who, after observing at the telescope, was bombarded with questions (unclear) that not knowing the answers was humiliated in front of everyone. The respect comes first, then the next evening, questions make them openly and not to the individual. At school we were all.
For it is culture in Astrophysics and science within the reach of everyone, young and old because the explanations provided by the staff, passionate and motivated, are always inclusive and available to everyone both newbies and experts. The modern and welcoming building includes the Astronomical Observatory with a 13 inch refractor and 5 metres focally, a unique Solar Observatory (nothing short of brilliant), a digital Planetarium from 54 seats, a beautiful conference room, re-sale, service and repair of telescopes. The predominant activity, cultural dissemination, is mainly aimed at students of all levels. Is perhaps the only facility of its kind in Italy that finances itself and argues independently but deserves a minimum of attention by public institutions and by the Ministry of education to enable it to develop the potentialities still unexpressed. The 40,000 visitors/users per year are proof of his excellence. Meditate People.
Last night we were at the observation tower of the Sun. Is a really cool place for both children and adults. This experience has excited so much that we just decided to go back for other evenings observing in the coming months! I recommend it to everyone! Observing at the telescope was definitely part of the evening that we preferred!
turn an old aqueduct into an astronomical observatory was a beautiful insight. the Observatory is beautiful and well equipped. There are many activities: guided visits, observations, conferences, theatre performances, shows in the Planetarium etc. of course the common thread is always in astronomy. really a big round of applause to whoever came up with the idea and all those people who are carrying out.
We spent a pleasant evening with friends and children to astronomy. The visit consists of 3parti: part 1 explanation at the Planetarium of the stellar constellation. Part II scientific explanation of astronomy on the planets, stars,-third party Observation stars and planets with telescope (unfortunately it was not possible because of the weather rain and clouds). Recommended book. Very pleased.
