  • We were on a weekday in October the only here, made it special! If you go over the narrow dirt road back runs do you even wonder if it goes well but fortunately are everywhere. The ruins are very good value for money. The waterfall was not quite spectacular. In terms of walking to do very well! There are also plenty of picnic benches at the ruins.

  • The receivers which I wanted to point out, to insiders by Trip Advisor, is that Bracciano has nothing to do with Canale Monterano and its ancient walls of the old city. Best regards from a channel if it is born and lives in Canale Monterano.

  • Of great historical and archaeological interest, but also a source of constant fascination, the "dead" town of Monterano, with its palazzo ducale, the aqueduct on bold arches, the beautiful Bernini fountain of the lion, the convent of St. Bonaventure and the fabric of smaller buildings which often have their roots on ancient Etruscan site. Today this rich cultural heritage, thanks to the presence of the protected area, is the subject of careful conservative restoration which contrast the incessant wrecking work time.
