  • Those who think in Bra imagines the famous veal sausage or its excellent cheese, think about cheese and slow food of which the city is its mother. But maybe not many people know that there is a Museum of writing mechanics that contains many different models of typewriters and reminiscent of all ages, every person can find the car he used in the first upper school courses in typing and it is a great feeling. Other "gem of Bra": alongside this museum there is also the beautiful bicycle museum with many specimens. Congratulations to those who created it and who every day keeps you organized with care and enthusiastically promotes these initiatives.

  • I went to visit this wonderful Museum with my class and I must say it has exceeded all my expectations! The collection is impressive for the variety and richness of the models, all working and it exposed with great love. You see in every corner the passion put into creating this place of memory, instructive also to show the youth the beginnings of keyboard! Free to use and is highly recommended.

  • I worked a few years at Olivetti, and my father before me there worked a lifetime as a designer of mechanical typewriters. Visit together this beautiful Museum made us go back in time! The museum displays typewriters starting from the earliest prototypes to the more recent, and each has its own story to tell, whether it is linked to a mechanical improvement or an historical and social context. The mechanical fan will find a thousand different ingenious mechanisms, and the history buff follows the parallel between historical events and anecdotes related to individual typewriters. A Museum for everyone, very well cared for, for which recommend booking a guided tour that is very interesting.
