  • Long walk but not overly tiring. We came to the camp, where we had lunch, and then we came back. About 18 km in which the landscape varies and where you can see deer and other animals.

  • The Val Zebrù, in the heart of the National Park, is one of the pearls of the Alps Valtellina, so beautiful in the austere simplicity with which we face. Königspitze, Monte Zebrù, and Ortler, Cevedale Tucket, Paschal, Monte, lace Tresero, as they appear when we arrive at the Zebrù (3000 metres), not so distant and incumbent as the Alps of Aosta Valley, not so sweet and Ethereal as the Dolomites, just austere, greet you but at the same time they demand respect. Maybe because the first world war it came through here, and the name of the Mountain, reached after 4 hours V Retreat from Niblongo, is there to remind you. Other obligatory, through Passo dello Zebrù, the Rifugio Pizzini and Retreat Houses. Binoculars in tow, to catch the fly, the bearded vulture, or more simply for chamois and ibex. And then the glacier (the largest is the glacial basin basin Ortles Cevedale Italian Alps), unfortunately also forced in recent decades. Around the Confinale, usually clockwise path (Niblogo, Alpine, Pizzini, Passo Zebru V, Mountain Shelter Forni, Valle del Confinale, Niblogo), returns to the starting point in 3 days (4 If you want to "ramble", as you should, towards the hut Casati). No danger but good legs and breath.

  • Beautiful valley protected from building up. You can walk from Niblogo to the cabin of shepherds passing a drop of about 600 metres in 12 km or using a taxi service for off-roading. The shepherds ' Hut can be reached via a convenient albeit V° Alpini refuge steep path. The climb takes about two hours, is tiring but satisfying and also, at the end, you can fortify yourself with a good hot dish prepared by young and friendly refuge managers. Who merely Valley can stand to eat at the shelter or Camp at the cabin situated 500 m before.
