Gavia Pass, Bormio

(4.6/5 based on 440+ reviews on the web)
High up in the Italian Alps lies Gavia Pass, the mountain range's tenth-highest paved road. This steep and challenging road is not for everyone, but adventure-seekers are rewarded with dramatic views of the Sondrio and Brescia regions. Because the road is quite narrow, it is best tackled by motorbike or bicycle. At an average incline of 16%, count on a hard and long climb. At the summit, reward yourself at the restaurant and take in the vast views. Put Gavia Pass into our Bormio vacation planner to see other points of interest to visit during your vacation in Bormio.

  • Fresh air awesome place for walks. Excellent shelters in the district and also bivouacs. Get out and go into nature.

  • Lovely place surrounded by mountains. Just for Biker's experts also because the road is quite narrow. But if you have some experience you can't help but get on it and maybe go to the Stelvio pass. Have a good trip
