  • The legend tells that the people wasn't able to complete the construction of the central span that was continuously falling. So they close a deal with the Devil: the bridge for the first soul that would have crossed it. Then the bridge was constructed and the Devil was waiting for his soul. The scared people didn't want to sacrifice anyone so they decided to push a pig on the narrow bridge. The Devil was so surprised and upset of the smart people that accepted the defeat and disappeared leaving the valley under a thick shroud of fog.
  • GREAT little gem. Good explanation of history at kiosk
  • It's a nice bridge with an interesting design. The surroundings are really peaceful, but it's a bit out of the way to get there.
  • Extraordinary historical bridge that is a national monument. Large arched span provides spectacular view.
  • really cool bridge ... worth your time if you like architecture... great views of the river and hills
