  • The Park is located within a large estate planted with olive groves. Wander through the ruins of the ancient Greek-Roman settlement is made even more enjoyable by the surrounding landscape (spectacular the view from the Hill of the necropolis). There is also an archaeological museum and a mechanized Crusher of 30 who loved children. Spotless restrooms, congratulations! Recommended to spend half a day. To avoid in the height of summer, during the hottest hours because the shadow is little and you risk insolation. There is the bar, but at least you can find vending machines for drinks and snacks.

  • The site, very well maintained, contains several historical periods. Beautiful stroll among the olive trees and observe the monuments that stand out on the blue sea.

  • Really surprising visit, brilliant value and fascinating. Some incredible treasures have been recovered in fantastic condition. We were the only ones there pretty much, we had total freedom to wander ...  more »

  • Stunning historic site not advised very well unfortunately, well worth a visit!
  • Thinking that I had read only the day before this archaeological area! A few steps from the sea, going up on the hill above the Amphitheater to enjoy a gorgeous panoramic sea views, this Archaeological Park would really everything to be a supervisitato site: an unfinished basilica Norman, beautiful in its grandeur, an archaeological museum well stocked and very well detailed illustrations and descriptions, a theater, a forum with a stretch of road in a remarkable state of preservation , an amphitheater, the only so far discovered in Calabria. Beautiful and so well looked after but ... directions nonexistent (fortune that today there are surfers) and museum open only in the morning. In any case it perfect the visit

  • The Archaeological Park is a fundamental area of territory Catanzaro. The rich history of the colony joined the artistic events and the spectacular nature of the place. The Park is now well maintained, the paths are well marked, everything looks clean. The Museum is well prepared. Also open on Poker Crusher. What about the scenery from the top of the Hill: a beautiful thing!

  • Entrance cost 3 euros per person. Very interesting and impressive! The works on the area of the Amphitheater are not complete but you can see anyway. Why not make a snack point with figs and prickly plant India on site, in addition to prepackaged snacks?

  • An amazing place, a hidden gem amongst the beauties poorly communicated by a land very beautiful but poor awareness of their own immense capacity to attract tourism. Worth a visit even on days with 40 degree heat and full sun. Entrance 3 euros. per person for the visit to the Archaeological Park and Museum.
