Santuario di Nostra Signora di Roverano, Borghetto di Vara

The Sanctuary of the Madonna di Roverano is beautiful and an ancient Marian tradition. It is incredible how a sanctuary in the middle of nowhere between hills and olive groves is full of Graces and a centuries-old destination of pilgrims from everywhere .... The beauty is that it keeps its naturalness, its simplicity and also its spiritual charm intact. It is a sanctuary to be discovered either you know it or you arrive there by chance ... after which it is never forgotten and every now and then, inside the faithful, the urge to go and visit the Lady of Roverano arises. Small sanctuary located in a panoramic position among the olive trees but the road to get there is well maintained. Inside it is possible to contemplate a miraculous Byzantine icon. The neighboring restaurant is also recommended.

Beautiful Marian Sanctuary located on a splendid mountain among olive and chestnut groves. The 7th September celebrates the anniversary of the apparition which took place in 1350. The facade is white with 2 small bell towers and inside the image of the Madonna with the child from the 16th century. If you are in the area it is worth a visit!

The Shrine of Our Lady of Roverano is located in Termine di Roverano, in the municipality of Borghetto di Vara. The birth of the Shrine took place after the Apparition of the Virgin to two shepherdesses. A place of great spirituality and prayer. It is surrounded by green, the panorama that can be enjoyed from this hill is wonderful.

A stone's throw from Borghetto Cara, along the Aurelia, stands this magnificent sanctuary. It deserves to be visited by the faithful, and by tourists.
