  • Built around the year 1000, it was enlarged and strengthened by the Este family in 1362. Its strategic location on Little enabled her to control navigation along with the rock of Ficarolo, located on the opposite shore, which was attached by a chain that prevented or allowed the passage of ships. Destroyed in 1521 was promptly rebuilt. Particular is the configuration of the walls, placed at an angle, the better to oppose the enemy artillery. The star of the structure probably dates from before 1570. This characteristic shape gave its name to the village of stars.

  • My partner and I stayed at Rocca Possente di Stellata about a month ago, a place we did not know and that was suggested by a dear friend, a photographer by profession, which, in fact, wanted to do photos in a beautiful location. Enchanted place, charming, quiet, romantic. Ideal for a walk as a couple but also for a family outing. Beautiful, I recommend it.

  • In a charming place, on the shore of the Po River, lies this beautiful building. After the earthquake damage 2012 la rocca no longer explored inside, but the building is still fascinating.
