Lago di Bomba, also called Lago di Sangro, is a lake in the Province of Chieti, Abruzzo, Italy. At an elevation of 262 m, its surface area is 10 km². To the south of the lake is Villa Santa Maria and to the north of the lake is Bomba.

  • The Bomba Lake is probably one of the most beautiful lakes I've seen. The views are breathtaking. However, a disappointing thing is that you cannot swim in it (we were told it's too deep). We managed ...  more »
  • A quiet day spent on the Lake, with only the sound of the wind in the trees. This is what awaits you in this site. Equipped camping and restaurant, perhaps more appreciated paddlers.

  • We stopped at the Lake Bomb after visiting the "green falls". At first we found it difficult to find an access point (there are many indications) then advised by a truck stopped at "the breath" (meeting point, parking, bar, garden) catapulted into the beautiful postcard of the Lake. Highly recommended!
