  • I saw this mercantile Museum which as the name implies they rich merchants to speak and has many rooms full of paintings, antiques, furniture etc. The rooms are large and the floor is made of herringbone palquè is maintained well and you can go from 2 different sides of the city of Bolzano (one by arcades and a from silversmiths) it seems to me that to enter you have to pay but this I can't remember anyway it's great to see the great rooms of a time

  • Set in a historic building on the famous Porticos with 17th century served as the seat of the Chamber of Commerce and Trade of the magistrate of Bolzano. The exhibition shows preserved environment, objects and documents of XVII-XVIII centuries. Lived and traded Tyrolean merchants clearly on a grand scale.

  • The building is the former headquarters of the Mercantile Magistrate, established in 1635 by the Archduchess Claudia de ' Medici as widow of Archduke Leopold V of Austria assumed the Regency. The woman was related to the nobility of Europe and great grandson of Giovanni delle Bande Nere and Catherine de Medici. The present building dates back to the early 1700 's. In the past it was the seat of the Chamber of Commerce of Bolzano and is now home to the Mercantile Museum, rich collections of documents, paintings and furniture from the 17th and 18th centuries.
