  • Situated in a dominant position on the medieval town of Bolsena, which gives its name to the Lake of the same name, I am arrived leaving the machine away from the Center and doing before a trip to the village. The village has several parking lots, all paying though. Moving away from the Center and turning the back streets I have however found a lane with white stripes and I saved at least the heavy tax for parking or worse those minutes as vigilant in these tourist destinations are usually diligent. Left the car I am versed in the historical centre of the village. It was very enjoyable jars through the narrow streets, but some tourist sign indicating the Castle would not be bad for those who have little time and want to go "straight to the goal." However given the elevated position of the castle is impossible to get lost. The only Castle, whose interior is also home to the "Bolsena Lake territorial Museum," has an entrance fee of 2 euros. If you want to visit the Museum of course the price changes. The visit to the "Rocca Monaldeschi della Cervara" is a simple walk on the walls of the fortress, but the scenery that he enjoys is priceless and certainly worth it!

  • A small castle which overlooks totally the Bolsena Lake. Tiny but absolutely well maintained, it is worth visiting just to gain access to the Castle and enjoy the breathtaking view. You can see clearly that in the past was a rock of Defense, because it has all the typical features of medieval fortresses. If you switch to Bolsena, well worth a visit.
